If you can't make it to any of the scheduled hours, reach out to arrange a private showing.
Dear Reader,
We're just a few days from the opening of Anti-Hero by Nicole Clark at E1507. (If you've already RSVP'd—thanks and see you there.)
As we install this show, it's clear how Nicole's work invites us all to think deeply about the characters that inhabit our collective stories (and what they reveal about us.) Anti-Hero weaves evocative imagery with the powerful written word.
Each piece introduces a unique protagonist: a figure alive with contradictions, humanity, and imperfection.
Expect something interactive—
As you move through the exhibit, you’ll encounter these characters both visually and through written stories that accompany them. To deepen this experience, you'll also be asked to (anonymously via smartphone) place each character along the x- and y- axes of anti-heroism—understanding and approval.
Throughout the evening, these responses will be collected and synthesized, offering a collective insight into how we view heroism, morality, and humanity in all its messiness. This interplay of personal engagement and communal resonance is at the heart of Nicole’s vision.
We're eager to have you as part of our dialogue on taste, culture and life.
Warm regards, Scott
P.S. Don’t forget to RSVP (appreciated, but not required).
